Palo Santo or ‘holy wood’ originates from the native Indians in South America.

The fragrance can be described as a warm, wooden and lightly aroma with a sweet touch. In comparison with white sage (that is also used for the same purpose), Palo Santo gives off a very mild odor.
To burn palo santo wood sticks:
Light a palo santo stick with a candle, lighter, or match.
Hold the stick downward at a 45-degree angle.
Let the stick burn for 30 seconds.
Blow out the flame. Place the stick in a heatproof dish to let it burn.
